MDO PE
MDO PE, or Machine Direction Oriented Polyethylene, is a fully recyclable type of polyethylene that provides puncture resistance and durability. Commonly used in mono-material pouch structures, its soft hand feel and ability to be recycled make it one of PCKG's most recommended materials.
PET
PET, or Polyethylene Terephthalate, is a high-clarity, high-stiffness polyester film often used as the product's outer layer for printability and strength.
MET PET
MET PET, or Metallized Polyethylene Terephthalate, is a reflective film with moisture and light barrier properties for aroma-sensitive products.
MATTE BOPP
BOPP, or Biaxially Oriented Polypropylene, is a naturally matte transparent film used widely for snacks and FMCG packaging. It is typically reverse printed for ink protection.
FOIL
Aluminum foil is a high-barrier layer material that provides protection against moisture, oxygen, light, and aroma loss. It is commonly used for coffee, spices, medical packs, and long shelf-life products.
WPE / TPE
WPE or TPE (White Polyethylene or Transparent Polyethylene) are used as a primary inner sealing layer. White is used when the product aesthetic requires rich, opaque color, while transparent PE is used for transparent knockout design elements or frosted transparent designs.
